Summary:
I bought htis camera back in 1987. I use it at least every week, and it was worth every dime I paid for it. It just keeps going on and on and on. I am now finally going to go digital, but i will still be using this one, since the pictures that come out of it are perfect.

Strengths:
Too many to mention. But the body is built strong. I have never had one problem with it!

Weaknesses:
None that I have found in 20 years.

Summary:
This body just goes on and on (exceppt the display light), its build quality is very good with its metal body.I have owned thiscamera from new and it has only let me down on one occassion when it developed a problem, six months later it just started working again (strange). I must have put hundreds of films through it and I the metering has always been spot on with a vast range of different speed films, I highly recommend it and I can't see me letting mine go in the near furure. The pro features which differt to other early Eos bodies are its 4000th sec shutter speed and 250th sec flash sync, the off camera flash cord 2 is also compatable with this body, I also found the optional large grip a great accsesory.

Strengths:
Build quality, 4000th sec shutter speed and 250th sec flash sync, auto bracketting

Weaknesses:
Battery usage, Duracell 245 seems to last the longest lasting battery

Summary:
Nice package for the age of the design and price. It is slow on the auto focuc but operates very good. The apeture adjustment button is in an incovenient location and requires two hands to change

Strengths:
1/4000 shutter 1/250 sync 3 fps rugged chassie

Weaknesses:
Apeture button location slow auto focus LCD light goes out after 5 years.

Summary:
Nice camera for a back-up or infrared body (no IR sensor) to someone already commited to EOS gear. Cheap when found second hand, reliable, sturdy body. Nice fast x-sync. (1/250)

Strengths:
Sturdy, heavy Fast x-sync doesn''''t fog infrared like other EOS cameras top shutter speed 1/4000 cheap

Weaknesses:
Crappy auto-focus tends to guzzle batteries (this may or may not be a problem. Remove them when not in use) lack of features, if you''''re used to more modern cameras

Summary:
Old but a good second or third body, also a camera that can stand an evil owner.

Strengths:
Strong metallic body and no inbuilt flash, this camera is better for hard conditions than newer plastic models. Very reliable exposure metering. I liked that the camera have evaluating metering until you use the lock button, then it switches to spot metering. Fast motor comparing to other bodies at the same price.

Weaknesses:
Bad autofocus, it needs a lot of light to lock on anything and it is slow. Buttons are not as logic as on newer models. I really missed Canons wheel on the backplate, it was very complicated to compensate the exposure when using long lenses. In manual exposure mode the camera don''t tell you how many steps you under/overcompensate from what the camera would have chosen. The loudly sound, every animal nearer than 1000 km will run and hide.
