Review 1 of 35

Price Paid:  $99.00 from Base PX

Summary:
I have had experiences with SLR cameras, and Minox camera systems. I like the operation of my ELPH JR which has not given me any problems whatsoever.

Strengths:
Portability is a must, for those quick and surprising shots. I travel abroad around the world, and some of the other photo buffs state there is no support for developing. All the places i have journeyed to have the developing systems.

Weaknesses:
I have not experienced any weaknessess except for the battery life using the flash, but that could possibly also be the batteries performance vice the cameras. The film developing is a little more spendy, but you get what you pay for. No negatives, which is neat for it is like a small photo album.

Similar Products Used:
None used.

Customer Service:
I have not had a glitch with this camera, for i have had it for 3 years now and it still runs like a champ.

Review 2 of 35

Price Paid:  $150.00 from 1999

Summary:
I bought this camera for my wife, because its really small and the aperture is not too slow. We both shot about 15 rolls during this 15 rolls the camera was 3 times at canon to fix it.

Strengths:
wide aperture, small

Weaknesses:
I have never seen such a bad reliability, even the 15 $ nikon from my son provides better Images and ist more reliable. Since the last fixing (done by canon, we have sharp images in the center, but around the center the sharpness is more worse than a one-way camera.

Similar Products Used:
minilux, leica m6, F4, F100, FM2,Fe2,FM3

Customer Service:
They are really friendly but they are not able to fix the camera, I think they are guilty, the design of camera is the problem

Review 3 of 35

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Fnac/Barcelona/Spain

Summary:
I bought this camera to carry on my trips. It''s a nice model. I didn''t expect it would work so well. But, after two years working very well it started to take bad pictures, out of focus, weak flash light, maybe shaken ou something like that. It seems that could be a battery (I changed it but didn''t solve) or a electronic problem.

Strengths:
Easy to carry. Good lens and pictures while it works well.

Weaknesses:
The problem I have described above. Weak AF system.

Similar Products Used:
Olympus 200 and Nikon One Touch

Review 5 of 35

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Ritz Camera

Summary:
I purchased this camera as a small family camera to use on vacation. It worked great for about 2 months then died. The camera then went off to Canon for over 6 weeks. Got it back, shot 4 or 5 rolls and every roll developed out of focus...damn that smarts... Thanks Canon! Ritz suggested another trip to the service center, however after that I would not trust shooting with this camera again. Ritz refused to replace the camera and could not guarantee it would be replaced by Canon. Canon would not return email or letters, and phone support went no where. I have owned 3 digitals for myself and currently shoot on an Ricoh RDC-7 and am going to purchase a Kodak MC3 tonight. This camera is less expensive than the wasted time, film, and processing on the Canon.

I own a computer company and cannot understand how companies can bowl over people like this. For the sake of a crummy $100 camera, both companies lost a customer for life. Shame on Canon and Ritz.

Strengths:
Compactness

Weaknesses:
General Reliability
