Model Reviewed: Endeavor 250ix APS Camera Summary: Good picture taker. Flash is a little weak, though. Use 400 speed film and KNOW YOUR FLASH RANGE. Viewfinder is tiny until you get used to it. Given its lack of reliability, I wouldn't buy one again. Strengths: Sleek, compact simple to use. Date imprinting on back of prints is great. Sharp lens, good exposure system. Good control layout. This camera is great to slip in a coat pocket so you always have it with you. Weaknesses: The first 250 I had quit all of a sudden. The zoom lens extended all the way and all the controls locked up except the shutter release. I work in a camera store and this was one of the strangest defects I've ever seen. The camera was replaced with another, which needed repair when it completely died. I had it repaired, but the film that was loaded at the time was ruined. The second repair was no charge thanks to the extended warranty I had purchased. Similar Products Used: Canon ELPH, Nikon Nuvis 75i, Nikon Nuvis 160i, Minolta Vectis UC and Vectis 300. Customer Service: No complaints.
