Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $250.00 from NetMarket

Summary:
I see a lot of people started to get it @ sub-$200 category. I got this over 1 year ago and paid $250, and still think it was a good deal. My major thing with cameras is size. I refuse to look like a tourist.

Strengths:
Compact; Lots of feature; Mid-roll exchange is a rare feature Build-in remote is great.

Weaknesses:
The lever to change format is very easily moved by mistake. Low capacity flashlight.

Similar Products Used:
Compact sizes from Nikon and Minolta.

Customer Service:
No experience yet (hopefully that won't change)

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $185.00 from MAKRO

Summary:
Great small camera. Easy to use (after you read the manual). Flash is a bit weak, but after a while, you get used to it.

Strengths:
The size of this camera is great.
The camera itself is very good for making some shot if you're out with friends. Using the Multi Function Card (MFC) you can also make a shot using the "remote" function.

Weaknesses:
Flash is not always strong enough. None of my other friends can make any decent shots. ;)
Reading the instructions manual is verry important...

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $175.00 from ebay

Summary:
A great little camera for 'snaps' and sometimes even more serious subjects.

Strengths:
I like this little camera a lot. It's size makes it easy to carry anywhere and is unobtrusive. I also like being able to select the three different formats (picture sizes) available from panoramic to classic. It is very easy to use but has some nice features if you want to use them.

Weaknesses:
The photos are a bit 'fuzzy' if you start to blow them up. This is probably due to the limitations of the small film (24mm) which is being used. I did have a problem with the rewind function. It broke after only a few rolls of film.. This same thing also happened with another Fuji APS I owned.

Similar Products Used:
Fuji Endeavor 600.

Customer Service:
I have had this camera repaired with no problem.

Review 4 of 4

Model Reviewed:
Endeavor 3500ix APS Camera

Summary:
This camera feels great to hold and use, and has good ergonomics (controls are where you want them and it also has a nice hand grip). Sharpness is decent for a zoom. Overall, a nice and very portable package when size and weight are a big factor. I selected it over theElph for its superior "feel" and wider, 3x zoom range.

Strengths:
(Comments are for the very similar Endeavor 3000ix, which does not have the removeable remote control) Overall, I am pleased with this camera for its versatility and extraordinary convenience. The lens quality is decent enough for a zoom. I think the 3000ix is a good alternative to the Cannon Elph, if it meets the zoom range that you want (I liked the extra wide angle capability, equal to 26mm@35mm and 3x range) and you like the ergonomics. I used it during a long trip and obtained mostly grain-free photos using Fuji Smart 400 and Kodak 200. More recently, I used Nexia 200 with even better results. There is also a $30 rebate and I have seen it here in the US for not much over $200.

Weaknesses:
There seems to be some shake (the viewfinder actually moves a bit during exposure); it must be held steady. Sharpness is not in the same class as my 14-year-old Nikon One-Touch 35mm P&S with prime 35mm lens, but is on a par with many 35mm zooms I have used. The zoom motor is a bit noisy.

Similar Products Used:
Cannon Elph

Customer Service:
No experience, except I did receive my rebate in just a few weeks.
