from Helix Summary: Just a jewel. Easy to use. Zoom is just as sharp as on the Elph. (I ran tests!) A prime len APS is sharper. I have run over 100 (yes, really!) rolls through this and the next model. The only trouble I have have is that when the lithium battery reaches a certain voltage, the camera stops working. I think this is true of the logic in many other cameras of this sort. The battery lasts for quite some time/rolls, but I don't use flash much. Strengths: small, lightweight, flash is part of body, will not break like on Canon Elph. Weaknesses: Early models had a bad link in battery compartment. This has been fixed. Covered by warranty. Like all of these camera the lens speed is slow, particulary when at telephoto. Like most of these cameras, it doesn't get in as close as I might like, but heck, that might be asking a lot. Similar Products Used: Canon Elph (24-48) Samsung Yashica Customer Service: Fantastic! Can call on phone and talk to a great techie who is very direct and honest! Kudos! The lab is the same. They really worked with me.
