Summary:
I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of pictures this little camera took. Focusing was a tad slow but on the mark. However, some brands or ratings of films came out clearer than others. Tried taking closeups of flowers and they came out very clear. All APS functions work, except that some labs do lousy work in processing APS. I have so far ran 5 rolls of film on this camera and have been very pleased with the results.

Strengths:
Very compact, easy film loading, convenient APS functions.

Weaknesses:
Weak flash, corner vignetting at wide angle and slow focusing.

Summary:
After our Chinon Super Zoom died, we bought this on the recommendation of the salesman - we were looking for a Canon Elph, or something of similar size.

Have to say we are very very disappointed. The autofocus is not just slow, it doesn't work. I've run out of confidence in the APS format altogether.

Some folks say use fast film, some say use slow, I've put the lot through this camera, and the combination of the fuzzy focus (it has real trouble focussing on infinity) and the large grains of all APS film make for terrible holiday snaps.

We take a lot of weekend breaks, trying to see European cities, so these photos are very important. However only 1 in 20 shots is usable.

I'm going back to 35mm, the Yashica T4 super or Rollei Prego Zoom looks good. Having tried a friends Leica Minilux I can see what 35 mm is capable of - much more than APS!

Weaknesses:
Focus, Red-eye reduction does not work

Summary:
Just a jewel. Easy to use. Zoom is just as sharp as on the Elph. (I ran tests!) A prime len APS is sharper. I have run over 100 (yes, really!) rolls through this and the next model. The only trouble I have have is that when the lithium battery reaches a certain voltage, the camera stops working. I think this is true of the logic in many other cameras of this sort. The battery lasts for quite some time/rolls, but I don't use flash much.

Strengths:
small, lightweight, flash is part of body, will not break like on Canon Elph.

Weaknesses:
Early models had a bad link in battery compartment. This has been fixed. Covered by warranty. Like all of these camera the lens speed is slow, particulary when at telephoto. Like most of these cameras, it doesn't get in as close as I might like, but heck, that might be asking a lot.
