Sequels are as popular here as they are in Hollywood–Canon sequels are the new Speedlite 580EX II and EF 16-35mm f2.8L II. Highlights for the speedlite are weather sealing. a metal foot. and flash control from the new 1D Mk III's control panel. Recycling time is claimed to be 20% faster. and silent to boot. Another feature that I noticed during our demo is that the flash head pivots around 180 degrees in *both* directions. not just one. (People who like to bounce flash behind themselves--photojournalists and wedding shooters--will like this change.)
In the bonus sequel category. we have the wireless transmitter WFT-E2. It's a second generation unit too. and it features faster file transfer. USB hosting. remote triggering. and GPS support.
