To show how tough the new Olympus 770SW is. they froze it.
The 770SW replaces the popular 720SW. The 770 maintaines the soakable and dropable (to 5 feet) qualities of the 720. and adds crush resistance. functionality down to 14 degrees fehrenheit. and... freezability.
A few days prior to the PMA. another 770SW was frozen. and then thawded. To demonstrate the functionality of the thawed camera. Olympus Product Manager Michael Barnett pulled it out of his pocket and took a picture with it.
