The other reviewer on this site is right! the canon fd 100 mm, is more than stunning sharp more than my L lens?!!i dont know why its so good but in refuse to shoot with other lenses if i can choose this one,its very near to perfect! Canon 200 mm F4 is a pure jewel and an overseen product in the whole photoworld. I know understandwhy young photographers is walking around with old Canon gear in the cities of NY ,paris ,London e..q..its The HYPE!

    Strength:

Internal focus (length unchanged during focusing) Fantastic sharpness Neutral colour Smoothest focus ring of my 8 FD lenses Built-in lens hood 52mm filter thread Weighs only 440g

    Weakness:

    Not compatible with EF mount

Stunningly sharp lens for little money. Mine has minor fungus growth inside but performance seems unaffected. It keeps my FD75-200mm zoom unused.
