from technikdirekt.de Summary: I think that the Finepix A310 takes some nice pictures considering the price and that it is a simple point-and-shoot camera. I posted some photos here:

The camera is pretty quick to operate in terms of start up time, focusing, and shutter lag.
Ideal for travelling. Strengths: Small
Simple to operate
Manual ISO adjustments (200, 400, and 800)
Uses AA batteries - good for travelling.
Takes good macro pictures.
Can take four pictures in a row (0.3 s delay between pictures. Weaknesses: No focus assist light.
Sometimes the pictures can be a little noisy (grainy) but I don't see it as a major problem.
It takes around 5 s for the flash to charge - meanwhile the LCD screen goes black.
