compact size
low cost
very decent (up to) 4MP pics from 1/2.7 inch CCD sensor
640x480, 320x240, 160x120 at 30 and 15 fps (MP4 ; .MOV ), ~20 min from 500M SD memory at 640x480, 30fps, "best" mode
easy to use, easy menus, "many" controls
What I didn't like:
battery charges outside camera
slow start and shutter to shot times
frequent focus "hunting" during movie mode
no stabilization; shaky, fuzzy higher mag. hand held shots/movies
"lowish" sound pickup sensitivity (max. setting)
"poorish" sound playback
Somewhat unusual configuration, easily adapted. Makes very good "take along" camera for informal shots & movies. Much much better than saying "I wish I had brough along my ..." Strengths: see main Weaknesses: see main Similar Products Used: Oly, Sony, Fuji, Nikon Customer Service: None yet
