$150.00 Summary: As a beginner I bought this lens to evaluate how much zoom i need ...and use. I am a racecar mechanic and photo alot on the track.
And for the purpose it works great.
Suprisingly fast autofocus with my Pentax.
The only comparsion i can make is....
Myfather bought a fairly expensive superzoom compact..Panasonic DMC-fz18.
And my cheap K100d-s, with my cheap FA-J 75-300 does still outperform the compact. EASY Strengths: For the price u get a nicely working piece.
With my Pentax k100d-s the autofocus is fast enough to follow fast racecars at close distance. I very seldom trow images caus of "Out of focus" cars.
i´ll try to uploade a sample pic Weaknesses: Feels plastic and cheap....
Pictures could of corse bee sharper. Similar Products Used: none Customer Service: no need.
