Strength:

Reasonably good burst mode, quick shutter spped when pre-focused, good battery life per recharge, 10-x zoom with no noticeable distortion through most of the range. Good flash pictures.

Weakness:

No viewfinder so you only have the LCD display which is hard to see in very bright sun. The auto setting doesn't seem to go to the lowest ISO so pics in bright light have slightly more noise than is necessary (but it does not seem to matter with flash pics that come out with no noise).

It's hard to imagine that this camera is a sort of stripped down version of the TX5. It has everything I could want. I really don't think there's much of an advantage in having a 3 in. display over the 2.5 in in the TZ4 or 9 mega pixels vs. 8 in the TZ4. The price wasn't the lowest I could have gotten, but the dealer was close to me and standard delivery by UPS took only a day (distance under 50 miles).

Customer Service

I haven't had any problems with the camera so theres nothing to say except that I customer service, when I phoned my order, was excellent.
