    Strength:

    Fast focus
Easy to use modes and features
Has some minor image stabilization in it.
    Good with most shots.

    Weakness:

Poor at real bright sun and colors in the sun.
    Poor at night shots
Not real good at macros or manually focusing for closeups.
    Movie mode is so so.

I bought this camera used as it was already an older model at the time. I have used it a lot for my outdoor and nature shots and photos of flowers. I tried all kinds of shots with this to see what it could and could not do. It is fast and easy to use. The size is barely small enough to be a pocket/travel type camera, but I do like that it is a bit bigger and built tougher.

    Weakness:

I have had the flash repaired 2 times and it has now gone out again. This does seam to me to be a defect in the product. The size of the camera is large compared to today's cameras.

I like the camera but it has problems with the flash not working. I hate to thing I have paid $120.00 a year to use a camera. I can buy me a new one or pay for a repair on an old product that has given me problems in the past.

    Customer Service

Sony will repair it for a flat fee of $169.00 plus shipping. They will not say it is a problem with the product.

    Weakness:

    - slow startup - 8MB memory stick is nothing, absolutely not enought

I had this camera for 5 months already, so far it doesn''t give me any problem and the pictures quality are really good, especially in outdoor.

    Strength:

Image Quality Rich Color Saturation Flexible Manual Controls MPEG Movies with Sound Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery

    Weakness:

Mediocre Low-Light Picture Quality 8 Meg Memory Stick (supplied) Too Small Hard to Use Control Pad

This a feature-rich camera with superb image quality. If you''ve never used a digital camera before the nearly one second delay between pressing the shutter and recording the image takes some getting used to. The mpeg movie (with sound) feature is very handy - and the sound quality is excellent.

    Strength:

Picture Quality. Incredible Detail And Colors Are Wonderfully Saturated. USB Speed Downloading. Camera Gets 5 Stars For Ergonomic Design.

    Weakness:

The Only Real Flaw On This Camera (to me) Is That You Have To Go To Menu To Delete Pix. There Should Be A Separate Button To Delete (with confirmation). The Other Complaint Is That The Camera Comes With An 8Meg Memory Stick Which Is TOTALLY TOO SMALL For A 3.3 MPx Camera.

I Love This Camera. My Wife Calls It My "Siamese Camera" Because It''s Always Connected To My Waist. I Have Taken Many Pictures With This Camera Already (almost 2000). The Macro Mode Is Incredible. I Also Like The Easy Menu System. The Quality Of The Images Is Just Incredible. It''s Like Someone Took 35mm Photography And Turned Up The "Surreal" Button. The Included USB Feature Is Great. I Can Dump Pix To My Computer In Only Moments. Also...Kudos To Sony For The Wonderful Lithium Power Source With Brains So That One Knows Just How Much Shooting Time They Have Left. Lens Cap With Strap Is Another Nice Touch.

    Customer Service

Haven''t Needed Customer Service. (I bought an extended full-coverage warranty for 4 years so I wouldn''t be paranoid/anal about carrying it around all the time)
