Review 1 of 7

Price Paid:  $180.00 from Costco

Summary:
I have used many Nikon SLRs and am still using N8008s. But this little APS camera is a big disppointment. Since the other one is big and heavy, I felt this cute little one would be a good companion to carry for travel. The picture quality is horrible -- most of time, out of focus and poor resolution -- especially with ASA200 film. I thought the film was so I used ASA100 most of time. But still I lost many important picture moments. I sent back this one for repair and this guy is still sick -- the lens cover is not fully closed and the control panel is blinking. I lost confidence on Nikon products!

Strengths:
Small, cute looking

Weaknesses:
Most of all-- poor picture quality
Poor build quality --fragile looking

Similar Products Used:
None because I blindly trusted Nikon products

Customer Service:
I sent out for repair with battery included.
After the repair the battery is missing.

Review 2 of 7

Price Paid:  $124.00 from Walmart

Summary:
Great camera at a moderate price

Strengths:
This is a good camera. After reading these other reviews, I was expecting the worse, but was elated when my results proved otherwise. Detail was particullary sharp at the wider angle settings - you could see the very finest details and textures. I tried a number of different lighting conditions - it handled all situations beautifully! The phots were all of the most professional calibre. I submit these other reviewers try a different processing facility - I believe that's their problem - NOT this camera.

Weaknesses:
Telephoto shots not as sharp as wide angle views

None

Customer Service:
Not used

Review 3 of 7

Price Paid:  $225.00

Summary:
CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP....This camera is absolute garbage. I purchased this camera thinking that it was a Nikon and had a lot of great features. It has let me down greatly. Especially when it stopped taking pictures just 6 months in. I was treated crappy by Nikon Canada who blamed my for the cameras problems, with no acceptable reasoning why??? The do not seem to stand behind this product period.....very dissappointing from a company with such a reputation like Nikon.
I fought tooth and nail to get a different model from Nikon and after 4-5 conversations I was offered the Light Touch 90 35mm camera that has performed much better.

Strengths:
None

Weaknesses:
Nikon Canada Customer Service

Review 4 of 7

Price Paid:  $200.00

Summary:
I am extremely disappointed in this camera. I bought it right before a big trip to San Francisco...and out of 90 pictures, maybe 5-10 are keepers.
I love idea of APS...but this camera has left me with a very negative experience.
I ony wish I could get my money back from Nikon.

Strengths:
APS - easy loading film
Functionally easy to use
Compact size

Weaknesses:
Horrible pictures!
Colors were washed out
Pictures were grainy
Details were lost on shots in the best of light.

Similar Products Used:
None

Review 5 of 7

Summary:
Very poor picture quality. I was suprised that Nikon would sell a camera that represented their brand so poorly. I will never again own a Nikon. Most disposable cameras take better pictures than this camera does.

Strengths:
None

Weaknesses:
Picture quality. Zoom isn't great.
