    Strength:

Small, compact, light. Good pocket camera, OK for quick snapshots.

    Weakness:

Not very good image quality. Many pictures turn out blurry (even landscapes).

If you try to take a close-up shot, you'll have to settle for a fuzzy image.

Also, even with the image resolution set to the highest level and the JPG compression as low as possible, the C300's built-in software really proccesses the picture. There is much compression, no matter what settings are used.

Almost no manual control over anything. There are a few options, such as "color effect" or an "exposure compensation" slider that darkens or lightens the image
before it is taken, but this settings are buried deep in a menu.

When taking pictures with flash, they often look blow-out. (Faces look blasted in
    white).

Movie mode does not record audio.

Camera takes over 1 second to start up.

No optical zoom. Sure, you can zoom digitally a bit, but this kills what little image quality existed in the first place.

I don't own this camera. But I occasionally take some pictures and videos with it.

Here's my opinion on the Kodak C300:

Don't get it. Instead, check out some models that at least offer auto-focus and optical zoom.
