A great camera!!!!! I am a beginner at digital photo., but I can say that I have taken A++ digital quality pics with it. I have to agree with most people on that the connector cover is CHEAP. I guess a person has to be careful, but, come on!! As far as menus and such the camera is great for someone who has no clue about the Digi photo world. I have taken nature pics in low light off of the water and could not be happier about my results. I am happy that I waited, I think $1000 was a bit steep for a beginner camera, but for $200 I think it is a steal. I recommend a GOOD*** set of rechargeable batteries if you are out and about for a long day of photography and have a lot of extra time for downloading the higher resolution photos. It is S L O W but hey, whats your hurry??
