Strength:
Small size,good build quality,good images printed at 4x6, metering & focus worked very well in various conditions.
Weakness:
red eye reduction not very useful, reverts to ISO 400 in poorer lighting conditions resulting in grainy image, flash may be a bit strong. I own several cameras including a Contax G2, Ricoh GR1 and Nikon 4500. I took the Sony U20 and the GR1 on a trip to Jamaica, took 270 photos and was very pleased with the results of almost all. I have had 4x6 prints made of many of the shots. On average they turned out better than those from the GR1. Given that this is a very simple point and shoot camera without the sophistication of more serious models it seems to be excellent at what it does.
