60mm filters can be hard to find slight vignetting wide open closest focusing distance is 2.5 meters which is not close enough for tight head shots

One of the sharpest optics available. Resolution/definition are astounding. Wide open the lens is superbly sharp however there is apparent vignetting and the sharpness falls off towards the edges. When stopped down centre sharpness improves only sightly (it's already anamazing) however vignetting is reduced and edge sharpness improves. It's difficult to describe how sharp this lens really is. You really have to see the images to beleive them.
