Bought this lens off of ebay used. It looks and has the same specs as the taron. I know it uses tiffen glass. All I can say is it will take a pickture. Very soft. If you want snapshots thisa is fine but if you want to take good pictures look elsewhare. I purches it because it takes the same filter size as mt 18-55 pentax (52mm) where my 70-300 sigma takes 58 and I wasn't completely happy with the sigma. I am going back to the sigma.
