Strength:

Great lens that is sharp at all focal length. Good build quality, very good ergonomics make it easy to hold with good button/control placement. EVF is good as is the LCD. Regards from NJ tile remodeling !

Weakness:

Have had it for two weeks now and it has exceeded my expectations and having compared it to the Nikon P510 and the Canon SX40.

Casual

As I am only a casual photographer this review should probably be taken with a grain of salt but here ya go. I was debating between a small pocket camera like this and a larger slr, either a rebel or d40. I ended up with the casio because I thought I would take more pictures with it and could always get an slr in the future. So far I couldnt be happier with it. The quality of the images is more than enough for what I shoot. It is very user friendly and intuitive and you get a fair amount of manual control over focus and shutter speed for what it is. One of the things I wanted was the ability to take quick sequences for mountain biking and everyone tried to steer me towards an slr but the high speed mode on this one has been great so far. At the moment I cant come up with any complaints but will update if I do. If youre looking for a good camera to slip in your pocket and not have to think about go for it.
