My main criteria was an optical zoom of 6 and above .I was pleasantly surprised to find Fuji s5800 with a amazing 10x Optical . Very sturdy and easy to handle. sits comfortably in your hand. Ease of use , I was satisfied l from the first picture onwards. and the videos shot on it is also good
