The 2xzoom could be better

This is one of the best cameras if you don't want to spend a lot of money! And if you had a lot of money to buy a more expensive one, you should be careful picking it out -You can't be sure that it's better than this Advantix f600! The quality of the pictures are splendid, the zoom quality could be better, but it works and you have many options for a good portrait combined with the 3-size picture choise that Advantix offers. Don't be sorry if you are the owner of one of these fine products. In kodak we trust!

wide angle panorama shots are stupendous

I didnt get one sooner!

This camera is the dogs gonads! once you have got to know it, the relationship just blossoms!. Other reviewers have whinged about blurred shots. Well, once you know this camera, and understand that there is a time lag for the auto focus 'twixt first press and shot-take, then blurry images are history. Hold the camera steady, press and hold....there you go! perfect every time. the 2x zoom could be better, but wide angle shots on panorama setting come out fantastic! the flash is good, its a good weight, the grip is good and its a comfortable size. I have used SLR's all my life, this is the first "compact" I ever owned and what have I been missing? no more twiddling with focus or lens stops, setting up for film speed is now a thing of the past, this camera is great. A++ for me. Next stop is a digital. Evolution anyone?

Easy to use, but then nearly all APS cameras are these days.

Fuzzy pictures.

I expected this Kodac camera to produce top quality shots at this price. After all,a 12 Euro disposable can produce clear and sharp pictures, so why not this one. However, like a previous reviewer stated, I found that image quality was often fuzzy, especially in scenery shots. Colour representation is also poor, and I've tried a variety of film manufacturers and developers. Avoid this camera!

After two rolls of film, sent in for a repair because all the images have slight fuzziness compare to my $30 Vivitar P&S. When I got it back and went through another roll, no difference in image quality. In fact, it wasn''t broke, that''s just the way this camera is. According to the technician, "Zoom lens is not as good as fixed focal length ones". Still, I paid $110 for this thing and doesn''t even produce picture that can match a $30 camera? It takes longer to process APS in most places than 35 mm and since APS uses smaller film than 35 mm, there can''t be much of details picked up or have a good resolution when enlarged. In the term APS, "A" stands for advanced. Is this what it means to be advanced? What''s really advanced is digital imaging system. I regret getting Kodak Advantix F600 Zoom. I am getting rid of it soon and invest on a digital camera

uncertainty of exactly how shots are going to turn out

Have had this camera for 5 months and am constantly concerned about the differing quality of photos coming back to me. Some are clear and colourful, others are grainy and dull looking.Am not totally convinced this camera is worthwhile.
