Panasonic PV-960 digital camcorder features digital EIS that compensates unwanted hand movement to make the picture more stable. It has x14 two-speed power zoom, and digital zoom provides continually variable magnification up to x20, while zoom ratio is displayed in the viewfinder. PV-960 is provided with a lot of convenient features. They include 1-lux low light sensitivity, color enhancement light, and auto date/time option. Auto daylight saving time adjusts the date and time settings to daylight saving time in April and back to standard time in October. Time zone select changes the clock setting to the appropriate time zone selected from the viewfinder menu. Bookmark search finds the end of the previous recording so that neither a gap nor overlap occurs when new recording begins; it's particularly useful when a partially recorded tape is re-inserted.
