The CCD-TRV208 features a 2, 5" LCD monitor, 20x optical/560x digital zoom, nightshot optical processing circuitry and sophisticated remote control facilities. The camcorder also provides a proprietary Easy Dubbing feature, which has been developed by Sony to provide easy and accurate editing facilities on any brand of VCR without an LANC cable. With this neat feature, users can copy video footage scene by scene using the camcorder to control the system. The two pieces of equipment communicate by pre-subscribed infrared codes to synchronize recording.
