from B&H Photo Summary: For anyone looking into backpack style bags, or anyone with a back problem that lugs around a lot of gear, this is definitely my first choice suggestion (if you don't need its big brother, which is too large for airplane travel) Strengths: This bag holds quite a bit of gear for its size. I have traipsed all over Paris, Manhattan and elsewhere with this on my back stuffed full of gear, and unless I strap a tripod to the side nobody knows what's in there. Plus, of course, it's far more comfortable than the traditional shoulder bag. One huge advantage over other photo-backpacks, in my opinion, is the accessability of the central section without having to open the upper section - quite useful if you're standing the bag on its bottom and trying to change lenses, etc. Also, it doesn't have the "look" of a camera bag, meaning it's (hopefully) less appealing to theives in airports. Comfort, portability for easier travel,, roominess - all outstanding. Weaknesses: The upper compartment is a bit strange in shape, though i do fit my camera body + normal lens on one half and film/angle finder/filters, etc on the other half. Also, the tripod straps and the side wall of the bag could be slightly sturdier - the side's softness makes it hard to strap the tripod on tightly.
