This bag is perfect, in my opinion, for day trips when you do not need all of your camera gear. Having most of my equipment either in a Domke J-2 or a large Tamrac, depending on 35mm or medium format requirements, I have found that this small, well made bag carries what I need to wander off for a day of shooting. This bag can hold a Leica R-8 with a 35-70 lens, 24mm, 180mm, Quantum battery in the side pocket and a Metz flash unit. Not only can it hold all of this equipment close to my body, but I also have room for all the film that I need plus an additional pocket for filters etc.
The construction is very solid and the bag sits nicely on the shoulder without sticking out and drawing attention to itself. By taping black cloth tape over the Domke logo on both sides, the camera bag is transformed into a plain shoulder bag. Weaknesses:
