Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $125.00 from Ritz Camera, Scottsd

Summary:
Tough and versatile bag. Shows little wear after four years of hard work. Protects quite well. I'm outgrowing this bag and will purchase the photo trekker aw II. I'll still keep this bag as it's great for carrying a single camera body and maybe a spare body and a couple of lenses. Very heavy when loaded, needs additional/optional harness to help distribute the weight. If you have ultra long and fast lenses, this won't work for you. If you need to take a trip out to the boonies for a couple of hours and need just a single system, go for it.

Strengths:
Tough as nails, built like a '55 Chevy. Versatile. Well designed.

Weaknesses:
Outgrew it quickly, which pros normally do.

Customer Service:
Not needed.

Summary:
This is a very well made, durable, as well as flexible bag, and I have been able to make use of almost every cubic inch.

Strengths:
Flexibility, great internal design and compartmentalization

Weaknesses:
I wish it held my motor drive!

Review 3 of 11

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Ritz Camera

Summary:
A nice high quality bag that will allow you to carry an SLR body, a few lenses, and some accesories. Size is a good balance between capacity and portability. The outboard lens cases are detachable to either reduce bag size or replace with custom cases. The bag has good padding and I feel confident keeping my gear in it.

So far I have been able to fit an EOS 3 body, teleconverter, 17-35mm, 100-300mm, 50mm, filters, lens hoods and remote release all in the bag with room for left for one or (maybe) two more lenses. Downside is I don't think I can squeeze my 550ex in there, and if I ever put a booster/vertical grip on the body I will need a different bag.

All in all an excellent bag if you want to have some decent capacity without resorting to a backpack (and you don't have a booster/grip on your body).

Strengths:
High build quality
Good strap system
Detachable lens cases

Weaknesses:
Front pocket could be larger, and/or telescope out.

Review 4 of 11

Summary:
A handy and comfortable bag for travelling or hiking. Weight distribution around hip is good. Use shoulder strap to help share load and to stabilise bag. You will need to tighten the belt from time to time to ensure snug fit.

Strengths:
Well built and comfortable to ware on hip
Flexible side pouches
Thick paddings giving good equipment
Light weight

Weaknesses:
Bag is only good for samll or medium systems
Front pocket too small for travel guide book, maps, etc.

Tenba

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $65.00 from cameraworld.com

Summary:
Great bag if you don't have large equipment or a motor drive on your camera. You can always buy larger lens cases to go on the side of the pack, but there's still no way I can fit my F100 w/ MB-15 drive on it in this bag and still have room for other things. I would recommend this bag more for manual focus equipment or the slightly smaller (non-pro) level bodies without motor drives.

Strengths:
This bag's greatest strenth lies in it's flexibility. The ability to detach or leave on the accessory lens cases was it's selling point for me. I like that you can take them off and have a smaller bag if desired. Great for day trips.

Weaknesses:
This bag is better for non-pro or non-autofocus cameras in my opinion. I loved this bag, but when I switched from a manual focus system to a pro-level auto-focus system, I found this bag a bit too small for the larger AF lenses and the pro bodies (I have a Nikon F100 w/ MB-15 drive). I had to sell this bag as I just couldn't fit my equipment in it anymore. If they made a slightly larger version I would buy it.

Similar Products Used:
7-8 other Lowepro bags.

Customer Service:
Great, I called them once about something, very helpful.
