Review 1 of 9

Price Paid:  $149.00 from Lens and Shutter

Summary:
I bought this vest based on some of these reviews and also availability here in Vancouver. I had a few moments of buyer's remorse but then I got used to having the thing on and being able to carry a lot of my gear. I don't tend to use it for carrying a huge amount of gear but it can if needed. I have successfully loaded it with an F90x and an FM2 body, a Nikon SB28 flash, a Nikkor 80-200 2.8 and a Tamron 90mm macro. My only complaints are the D rings on the sides. They are not terribly secure and they work themselves lose and I feel like they get in the way. I bought some velcro from a local fabric store and modified the sides to keep the tabs out of my way. Works great. No problems now.

Review 5 of 9

Price Paid:  $85.00 from Adorama

Summary:
Okay, I feel like someone in a movie playing a photojournalist when I'm wearing this thing. That's really not something I want when strolling around town. However, I now understand why PJ's started using vests like these; you can carry a lot of gear and have fast access to it. No backpack or bag can match the convenience. The vest doesn't catch stares when you're hiking around southern Utah and the ventilation is quite good for warm weather. In cool weather, I wear it over a fleeze jacket. I advise getting one that's a size bigger than your usual for over jacket use.

Strengths:
Nice color, comfortable, lots of pockets.

Weaknesses:
So many pockets you can actually lose stuff in the vest.
