Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $120.00 from Jessops (295)

Summary:

Very English. Very comfortable, beautiful construction (beyond well made). Indiana Jones colour scheme. Check it's big enough for you first. Essentially hand made in Brierley Hill. If you've noticed that LowePro rucksacks are made in china and feel it, then his could be the bag for you. I visited the factory recently, and discussed the 25 with their sales manager Jackie Hyde. I found the company to be very traditional in their approach to production and design. Most impressive. This is all about attention to detail, I've seen the grain of this company and it's products. Right though to the brochure being produced by Zappia & Zappia, the photos by Snowdon. (OK, so I was taught typography by Julia Zappia, coincidence). Top dollar, if you fancy the best, this just could be it, and frankly. They're inexpensive. Which means value for money. Awesome.

Strengths:

Stunning build quality. Exemplary materials. Waterproof (Stormblock and sheilded zip).

Weaknesses:

Insufficient pockets. Zero small pockets. Looks "new" for too long, they need to sell a pre-distressed version for instant street cred.

Customer Service:

When dealing with the factory, superb. As for warranty, unless you get this thing stolen, your never going to need customer service. It's not like it's ever going to fall apart on you.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Kindermen

Summary:

Well made, impressive to look at but not very practical. In this price range there are a lot better products to be had.

Strengths:

At first sight it appears to be well made, excellent workmanship, high quality materials.

Weaknesses:

Impossible to get comforable with it especially with heavier Leica R Cameras and Lenses. This bag was definitely not designed for the outdoor, back-packing photographer. Offers obsolutely no protection against rain or water.
