Great for storing lots of gear. Carries weight well without putting a strain on my back. Can carry a 2 liter bladder. Straps are adjustable. Low profile so you don't get caught on branches or other low hanging things.

It is a big pack that holds lots of gear. If you don't have a lot of gear I would recommend getting a smaller bag.

This pack is great for someone who has lots of gear and can't fit it all in their small camera bag. It holds weight very well so you do not have a strain on your back. It has a great hydration pouch for a 2 liter bladder that is needed for long hot hikes. When my National Geographic Earth Explorer met its early and unfortunate demise I suddenly found myself in need of a new camera backpack for my exploration. Let's just say like many people I'm none too kind on my camera backpacks since I explore abandoned buildings which often cannot be too kind. I remember seeing the Clik Elite brand here on Photography Review a while back and was instantly drawn to the bags, since they were designed for adventure photographers my mind instantly went "Adventure, well exploring abandoned buildings counts right?' but at the time I had a camera bag. So when I was in need again I instantly went to Clik Elite, and settled on the Escape.

The Escape provided the perfect blend of carrying space and low profile. The low profile was key since I often have to climb through small spaces to get into buildings. But even with the low profile I can still carry a pro body dSLR at at least one other camera body (either 35mm SLR or a Medium format camera (6x6 SLR/TLR or 6x4.5 SLR). Not to mention a good selection of lenses and flashes. The mesh case allows for easy transport of cable releases, tripod feet, even a notebook and pen.

Another key point to the escape is the unique tripod carrying, using a mesh pocket and bungee cord, which I have found to be rather secure while climbing or crawling, and of course walking.

But even with all these great things there are a couple things about the bag that are a bit disappointing. The main straps are a little on the thin side (although i haven't had issues yet) also the lack of extra storage space, for additional gear (spare flashlights, film ect).
