Summary: The bag is waterproof, although water seeps in around the lug holes at the bottom, but doesn't get very far. The size means you chuck more equipment in than you realistically need, but that's not the bag's problem. It has a solid base and padded sides to protect your gear and it still looks as good as it did eight years ago. Cost me £150 then. Expensive then, and expensive now. But I've never had to think about what I carry my gear in. Strengths: Waterproof - has stood in a foot of water in the sea. Built to last - used and abused it for eight years now. Looks good - also used as an overnight bag... Weaknesses: Could be quicker to open, like the 445, and it could use more closed pockets and pouches, but that's it. Similar Products Used: None. Customer Service: Excellent.
