The Sideline Shooter holds 50 rolls of film, with adjustable dividers for unexposed and exposed film. It's also great for camera gear. A top zip lets you grab stuff without opening the lid-and without risking spills. There's also a total of four mesh pockets, inside and out, and one main exterior front pocket.
As a line, I've long preferred Tamrac to others. I've never called other lines bad-- just had a prefereence for Tamrac. However, this one from LowePro is a real winner.
This is actually a great little bag. It provides easy access to your equipment. Like the Tamrac Velocity 7, it doesn't look like a camera bag. It wears comfortably around your waist and can be worn in front or on your hip. A great choice for carrying your stuff while you're out & about.
The bag best serves when used as an accesory bag while your camera & a lens is carried on a strap.
Strengths:
I found what this little bag is capable of carrying quite surprising. It can carry my camera with a lens attached plus my flash, an extra lens, 2x teleconverter, and some spare batteries. You can attach the Tamrac MAS pouches to it carry more stuff or to make more room for film inside the bag. Or you can use the pouch to carry your film. Granted, they may not fit as you may like, but it can be done. I often put my filter pouch on it.
It's size is a real plus. It's not a huge bag designed to serve as a traveling warehouse, but that's not the intent. It's designed to carry a basic photography kit & if you're content with that, it'll serve you well.
It fits comfortably on your hip, where I prefer to wear it. It can easily be worn on the hip front or back.
The mesh pockets are handy. I sometimes use them to hold a few rolls of film & often use them to hold my lens caps.
Weaknesses:
Though it will accomodate a camera with a lens attached, it doesn't do it as well as I'd like. It doesn't close as easily under those conditions. It also alters the fit somewhat, but not too badly. It best serves as an accessory bag for other items with your camera and a lens carried on a strap.
It doesn't accomdate my Pocket Bouncer as I'd like. I can carry it in the outside mesh pockets, but I'd really rather not carry it there.
When loaded as described above, it can get a little heavy and not wear as comfortably, but that'll be the case with any bag.
The Bottom line is that FINALLY I found the right bag for vacation, sports, and professional work. A way to stay not only hands free, but shoulders/back/and stress free! This bag stays out of the way -- but keeps all necessities close and quickly accessible. You can even loosen bat wings and flip the bag around to your backside. The top zipper is WONDERFUL so you don't have to open the bag to get at an extra roll of film. For weddings you can keep an emergency lens and tons of film. The bag easily held my 35 SLR with attatched 28-210mm lens, a flash, a few filters, a dozen rolls of film, some paper/pen. I can't say enough ..would pay twice the price.
Strengths:
Slim, Contoured Fit and snugs to body as close or loose as you'd like with Bat Wings adjustment, ACCESSIBLE!!, well made, opens away from body. I could go on and on.

Summary:
This bag has the slimmest profile of any belt/waist pack, important when hiking through brush or squeezing through crevices. There's also much less bounce with each step. The size is just right - just big enough to carry the essentials. The bag is well-made and thoughtfully designed for the convenience of the user - ideal for fast shooting!
Strengths:
Slim profile, size, convenience, quality of construction
Great bag. One of the things I like is that it has 4 mesh pockets, two on the inside and two on the outside, I always tuck my lens caps into the outside ones so I know they won't get lost. Also the top has a quick acess zipper so you can retrieve something quickly without opening the entire top.
Strengths:
This bag is a great addition to any pack that you already own, it is so flexible, you can carry a camera and a lens or two or 1-3 lenses, filters, film, or overflow from you regular bag. Quick access zipper on top of bag is a big +. Great for hiking, etc...
Weaknesses:
A little spendy, but worth it to have one around.

Customer Service:
When I got pissed off at the rudeness of the New York chains when I went to order this bag, I called LowePro, they gave me the name of a reputable dealer (CamerWorld) that would carry this item. I don't think alot of places stock this bag, so that was a big help, I didn't quite feel comfortable when the guys in New York didn't have any clue what bag I was referring to, then all of the sudden acted like they had it and would send it--yeah right.

Summary:
I love this bag, and it's purple!
Strengths:
Found it the best lowprofile for backpacking when you're taking only 1 SLR with a zoom and a flash. Fits comfortably and well padded around my waist, hardly know it's there. Easily covered up with a shirt for situations needing discretion.
Weaknesses:
Hard to use top zipper to retrieve things. Not much room for a lot of film. I'd get a removable film pouch for for my next trip.
