Summary:

Wow !! a strong vest which holds up in long use. I originally used the vest to carry large-format items. I now use it in combat to carry gear. It being made out of rip-stop nylon means it won''t soak water. The padded collar really helps when you load it full of camera glass, or anything else heavy. I had mine with the padded belt, which moved the load lower to my waist, rather my neck. I have since modified it further (spray painted flat-black for stealth, reinforced tabs/seams on pockets, added more nylon tape)

Strengths:

I got more pockets than a lot of my guys who carry other brands. And the bottom pockets have a shape to where they stay open-I don''t have to "fish" for it. I also like how you can adjust the sides, when you have to wear a cold-weather coat, the vest adjusts too. Having the padded shoulder pads and belt made carring the load easier.

Weaknesses:

Need drain holes. I was swimming to my pick-up point, and the pocket were full of sea water. Expensive compared with other photo vests.

Similar Products Used:

domke vest --nice cotton vest ! But not designed for wet/heavy work-best for 35mm weekenders.

Customer Service:

My vest order was delayed, but I was told it was going to be late.
