from PC R Summary: They had just gotten these in. My brother in law and the salesman really hooked me up on this. He has a done a good amount of business and that's why the price was so good. Anyway to the review. This is my first video camera of any kind and I'm looking forward to using it for a bunch of applications, vacations, mountain biking trips, family. Once I learn to really use it's full potential, I'll be stoked. Strengths: Has all the bells and whistles for a newbie. Best feature over the next model down is the picture to memory card (8MB), which stores about 80 pics on the highest quality (good enough for goofing around on the computer but not really printer quality. Easy to use and learn. Picture stabilization actually works. AE programs are cool for different situations. Weaknesses: You'll need to get 1 or 2 extra batteries.
Heard the computer software was crummy, but what do I know. You need to open the view window to plug anything in (no big deal) Similar Products Used: none Customer Service: Excellent so far. Place even through in a tripod.
