from P.C. Richards Summary: It came down to this and the Panasonic 702, which wasn't available anywhere. We purchased this and I am mostly pleased with the choice. This is a great video camera that allows you to take 1 MEGAPIXEL stills.
It has a light, LION battery, it's DV format, can be used as a webcam, software is easy to use and although it doesn't say it's compatable with XP that's what I have and it works fine.
Quality is excellent on video and stills, it's easy to use, including the use of it's menus, it has a large 3.5 LCD and a COLOR viewfinder. Great camera, but not the least expensive. Strengths: Image quality of video and stills
