Summary:

This was my first camcorder purchase, and boy am I satisfied with the decision. Love the color accuracy and vividness due to 3CCD technology. Very sharp Leica Dicomar lens.
For low light situation, I just plug in the video lamp on the hotshoe. It's just great.
Love the size too, considering it being a 3CCD camcorder.

Strengths:

Small and compact 3CCD camcorder
Beautiful color rendition
Silent operation
Hotshoe
Full manual controls, including manual focus
Built-in editing tools
Cheaper than Sony
Magic Wire

Weaknesses:

Low light situations
1.7MP still photo resolution

Customer Service:

Hinge contact to the LCD display broken recently due to wear and tear. Spent 40 dollars for the repairs and Panasonic Service Center. It is good as new.

Strengths:

Excellent color!!! Compact, easy to use, and durable.

Weaknesses:

Not very good in low light situations.
