from LetsGoDigital Summary: I was looking for a MiniDV camcorder that had basic features, was inexpensive, was easy to use and by a reputable manufacturer, this camcorder met all these demands with flying colors. I had done a little research, but couldn't find too much in the area that I was willing to spend. When I saw this advertised in our local paper, it seemed to good to be true. I checked it out at our local brick and mortar and found it attractive and easy to use. I did some internet searches and found the best price $50.00 less then the local store, so I ordered. It arrived in good condition and after a quick battery charge was ready to go. I haven't had a chance to test it in many different lighting situations, but the ones I did, it gave very good results, greatly surpassing my 12 year old Sony 8mm Handycam. So far I'm very pleased with this handy little camcorder. Strengths: Ease of use. Picture quality. Bright display. Light weight.
