from Fry's Electronics Summary: This camera is EASY to use, very inexpensive, and has served it purpose well. I have my lens set to 40X it works great for me. You can go up to 300X, however anything more than 40X and its a waste. I film family, friends and social events. If you want to get close ups with crystal clear images from 1000 feet up better invest more money and get a camera with a superior lens, other than that I feel this camera is equal with all others.
