from eBay Summary: This camera is almost ideal, except for one MAJOR death-blow (in my opinion), and it's something you don't easily find out about until after you buy it and use it. The problem is that when the camera is paused and then re-started, you get a momentary still frame at the beginning of the new sequence in playback. I can't believe they would even make a camera with that problem, it makes the video unbearable to watch unless you edit out all the freeze frames. I could see using it if I was getting footage purely to edit, but for a casual vacation video (which is what I bought it for) it's horrible. I got a good deal on this camera but I wouldn't have paid $200 for it had I known about this (highly unreported) feature. I now found out this is a problem with ALL MicroMV cameras, so I cannot recommend them - a darn shame because otherwise the convenience is wonderful. Furthermore though you have to edit out the freeze frames, editing and capturing with this format is also much more problematic than MiniDV (I won't repeat why because those problems are lamented all over the web).
A couple other things that bother me about this model are that when I switch it on and hit "rec" it takes a VERY long time to start registering, much longer than any other camera I've had, including MiniDV. Also, no headphone jack, that's a major oversight. All in all very disappointed.
