At first this camera seemed decent, the sales cleric said that the quality was good. But when I tryed hooking it up to my computer it was horrible. The software is horrible, the image quality just plain sucks, and you can't use the videos this camera takes for anything other than internet streaming.

I love this camera. It's easy to use and the quality is great. The software however, imagemixer is terrible. It crashes, it is cumbersome and I'm looking for an alternative.

There is no customer support for imagemixer in Australia which is very frustrating

When purchasing this camera I thought I was getting a good camera. Until I tried
to hook it up to my mac did I find out
that there is no firewire on this camera. A 900 dollar camera with no firewire! Whats that all about! I wish they would
of wrote that on the box so I knew before
I bought it! I hooked the camera up to a friends pc to get my video off the camera and the software is aweful!

footage is very clear

Sony Customer Service not helpful
Worst software I've ever used
I have had this Sony dcr-dvd 100 For a month now, have read dispariging reports from so called experts, but as of now have found every thing satisfactory with the unit and would highly recomend it to anyone.

Cost of disks as of now. and poor information regarding Image Mixer
