Actual camcorder is a DCRSR47. Picture appears nice on the monitor but when I hook up the AV connecting cable to our 40" HDTV and play, the image is very low quality and not worth watching it is so low res.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you,
Ron

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $600.00 from Sam's Club

Summary:

This is a very easy to use product that can be used in a variety of ways. The 30G memory seems never ending. The size is very small, compared to the previous tape-using camcorders I have owned in the past. The reviewing of pictures and videos on the camera itself is very easy, using just a touch of the screen to access the media. The computer connection/transfer software is very straightforward, but if you want to do any in depth editing I would recommend getting an editing specific program.

Strengths:

Ease of use, size is great, 30G of memory is endless, lcd screen, ease of media access

Weaknesses:

(personally) i wish it had an eye-look through just because i am old school (i guess), the menu can be kind of confusing at times, but its managable

Similar Products Used:

old tape cameras, other than that none

Customer Service:

great, i had a problem with the software disk and was able to get it fixed very quickly (a few minutes) with a download.
