I love this camera. I bought it last year when I was in the States and I toured around for 6 weeks and used it all the time. That said, it went through some pretty tough times; from the beach to Disneyland to torrential rain - and it survived. The picture quality is not superb, but for $180, what can you expect. If I want great photos I use my SLR, but for quick snapshots this is great. The 2mb Smartmedia card that comes with it does not take many pictures but for $20 you can get an 8mb one which takes between 48 and 196 pictures. For enlargements up to 7 by 5, i find the quality pretty good - any larger and it becomes a little pixellated. It is really easy to use and the software that comes with it is easy too. Downloading the pictures through a serial cable can be a long process and it drains the batteries like mad. However, as I use a notebook I bought a PCMCIA adapter for a Smartmedia card for about $30 and it saves a lot of time and battery power. The camera also uses batteries very quickly, so rechargeables are a good investment. However, for a first time digital camera for someone who wants to take snapshots this is a great buy.
Strengths:
Durable

I have been pretty impressed with customer services. I bought my camera in the USA and after about 4 months, after I got back to the UK, the LCD screen started playing up, and going all strange. I didn't have my receipt or anything for the camera but by using the serial number they could tell where and when it was sold. They picked it up and repaired it for me, and sent me a replacement reconditioned one to use in the meantime. The only thing they could have done that would have been better would have been to give me a brand new one, but we can't have everything.
This a very nice litle camera, it's funny and very easy to use. I have it everywhere i go ! It's quick and economic for re-shoting the bad pic's ! (Perfect for beginers) whit 4 resolution mode: 320x240,640x480low,640x480med and 640x480hi but whit Photogenie (Software included, whit serial transfer) the image is enlarged to 1024x768 and distortion contrast ! bad ! (I buy a card reader and solve the proble, i got 640x480hi, and if a want to enlarge it, i do whit another softwear. )
It's having a good macro, and it got a good power of the flash, and 9/10 no red eyes ! Cool
Minus ! it's too fun and you will want more resolution faster ! but for e-mail, web site and more it's perfect, "But do not take the pic of your wedding whit this one! " ;)
Strengths:
Nice handling
user-friendly software (IN CAM.)
Good power of Flash
No-red eye (even with-out red-eye reduction)
Memory card Removable
1/1000 shutter speed !
Weaknesses:
350 000 CCD ! This is the worst one !
Poor Night shots (without flash)
Memory card limit to about 8Meg :(

Stylish design and has many features for the price such: colour LCD display, view image on TV, 4 modes of flash, removable memory, support PC and MAC, date, time, and etc. There are 4 options for frame the picture. 3 stars will be used more often because of the quality. 4 stars option is blurly. Also the battery life is very short if use LCD, otherwise its okay. Overall its a good camera for the price and it is a good camera to start in digital photography.
Strengths:
Can view image on LCD and TV, 4 selection images, view & delete image directly, macro and portrait modes, stylish lens cover.
Weaknesses:
Very short battery life with LCD and 4 stars mode makes image soft.

Summary:
This is a great camera if you just want to point, shoot, and easily e-mail your pics to others. It's got a flash, a preview screen, and is easy to work with. If you want to get more features (such as a zoom lens), you'll have to spend some extra $$$; likewise, if you want high-quality images so you can print them to hard copy, you'll need to get a higher resolution camera. But, if you just want to quickly share photos with friends and family worldwide, this is the camera for you.
Strengths:
* Low cost, relative to other digital cameras
* Flash
* Preview screen
* Easy-to-use software
* 4 picture quality settings
* Memory is upgrade-able
* Tripod-ready
* Timer
* Red-eye reduction
Weaknesses:
* Auto-focus (1 focal length)
* No zoom lens
* Seems to focus better at 2 ft. than at 8 ft.
* Batteries get used up fast; recharge-able batteries don't seem to work.
* Seems to need a LOT of light to get good pics.

Easy camera to use. Took the first picture 5 minutes of unboxing and was viewing the pictures on my computer within an hour! I've sent a slew of images to an online printhouse and received them back.5x7 prints where almost the quailty of my 35mm camera. Great for a camera that cost $156! Everyone in the family is thrilled with this camera.
Strengths:
Ease of use. Edit pictures on LCD on camera. Solidly built. Good software for your PC.
