Review 1 of 28

Price Paid:  $25.00 from Big 5

Summary:

Would rather use 9.95 35mm and pay for developing. Used to capture 15 yr reunion with my Aunt at Christmas-what a mistake. High resolution pics have all these squares in them and color is yellow. Horrible Horrible Horrible pictures

Strengths:

price and color purple

Weaknesses:

everything except above

Similar Products Used:

only used Sony- actually I agree with "Block of Wood"

Review 2 of 28

Price Paid:  $25.00 from Big 5 Sporting Goods

Summary:

oh my god!!!! NEVER have i ever sat at the computer for so long (>6hrs) for the whole process, but what can i expect for 24.99... not bad for a temporary device until i have enough saved up to buy the camera i want. good luck... :)

Strengths:

Web Carm device was pretty easy and awesome---once the software and correct Drivers for win XP were FINALLY located and downloaded.

Weaknesses:

VERY disappointed in the downloading of the device and software!!!! NONINFORMATIVE!!! BEWARE...no digital LED on camera. you have to wait until you download--old school. Also, NO flash included and you MUST be very still when you snap the picture.

Similar Products Used:

kodak digital camera

Customer Service:

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Don't plug in device to computer until drivers (ALL OF THEM) are installed.soooo imperative that you download twain_32driver for win XP users.

Review 3 of 28

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Thank goodness this was a gift. I couldn't possible waste $15 on something that RARELY works. Software for the camera was unstable for any pc platform, ie..XP, 95, 98, 2000...You need a sugeons hands to come up with good pictures, if that...you have to be EXTEREMELY still..I can go on an on.. For those who are deciding to buy a digital camera, do yourself a favor and buy a disposable digital camera for $15. You'll get great pics

Strengths:

free cabale..yippeeee

Weaknesses:

everything

Similar Products Used:

none

Customer Service:

no customer service. tried to call the number on the manual, but you'll wait for a long time.

Review 4 of 28

Price Paid:  $15.00 from OfficeMax

Summary:

He he he! I was just looking how to get it back to work, and it was so funny reading the reviews that I decided to write one out. Well, when I saw the pictures for first time I said: "that's what I get for $15.00". So, it was Ok. But it doesn't work any more (I can't download from it anymore, it insists in saying there is no camera connected). I may try for a while before discard it. If you got it to work, for $15.00 it will work Ok, but don't forget "hold it as still as possible".

Strengths:

Came with USB cable and software. Can switch resolutions (from bad to worst, not really, but there is not much difference among them).

Weaknesses:

Needs extremely still hand for taking acceptable (for its prize) pictures. When it says "I won't go anymore" can take days to get it back to work (I haven't yet).

Similar Products Used:

Too much time ago to remember.

Customer Service:

Couldn't find yet, well, this site has been customer service so far.

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

The instructions were terrible. The camera might have worked if there was any way to figure out how to install the software. It is a piece of junk

everything
