Strengths:    It takes movies. Great for outdoors. Good quality pictures. 5X digital zoom. Self-timer. Automatic power- saving function.

Weaknesses:    Does not have optical zoom. Only has 3.2 megapixels. Batteries go pretty fast. Must use rechargable ones!!

    Bottom Line:
I have used this camera for about 3-4 years now. It takes really good pictures considering it is only 3.2 megapixels. I usually bring my memory card to the local store and have my pictures printed. The pictures come out pretty clear. However, it takes better pictures outside than inside. I like this camera because if the picture isn't good you can erase and take a new one! I feel this camera is good for beginners. It has a variety of functions and the buttons are easy to use. If you are a beginner, I feel this camera is good for you! It is worth every penny!

Strengths:    Ease of operation- Big enough buttons to use but not too big, and I like how the menu's layed out.
All the ways you can customize it- Startup picture, sound, push-button sound...
    Features-Lots of then trust me

Weaknesses:    Battery life I suggest you take more still pics than videos and GET RECHARGABLES!!! NiMh would be best I went through 2 pairs of batteries in the first day lol.

    Bottom Line:
This is a great camera for beginner-intermediate. It is easy to operate and fast to learn. Fun to use too. I love this camera. This is the day I got it and I love it already. Buy this camera. Reccomendation: If it is back in stock get it at www.keh.com it's a great place. Used cameras in good condition for a great price.

Strengths:    Good bang for your buck! With 3.2 megapixels it takes very good pictures. Although I haven't printed any yet....

Weaknesses:    I had trouble with taking black and white pictures only because the camera lacks clear instruction on what mode it needs to be in, in order to take black and whites. I also wish it had optical zoom as well as digital.

    Bottom Line:
I received this camera for christmas and have found it to be very impressive. It takes beautiful pictures. The clarity and colour is amazing!

Strengths:    easy for any age, EX-Battery life, appox 600 to 725 pic on a set of battery's.

    Weaknesses:    none so far.

    Bottom Line:
The canon Power Shot A300 is a better camera then the canon A70,I own both of them, the A70 has a bad battery life.which as we all know is a big down fall. You will save a $100 by buying the A300 over buying the A70, you'll save even more it comes to Battery replacement. I have 4 out of 5 people that use the A300 over the A70 in my house, for 4 out of the 5 fighting to use the A300 is pretty good,Age's of user's are 42,40, 16,13,and a 9 year old.

Strengths:    Briliant quality images, ease of use, movie mode, macro, cheap memory, and very good tft screen.

    Weaknesses:    No optical zoom.

    Bottom Line:
    Brilliant camera.
Ignore people who moan about battery life, they are using the wrong ones. Get some 2100mAh Rechargable ones. They will last for ages!
What else can I say? Its a very good buy and well worth the money!!!
