Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Stupid piece of JUNK ! Video quality is a joke. Pictures end too bright or too dark. Battery time is ridiculous, less than half an hour even when using > 2000 mAh batteries. Video cables don´t work. AC adapter does not exist in the HP dealers.

Strengths:

Can´t find any, since this thing is a TRUE JOKE from HP.

Weaknesses:

Doesn´t have any, since again this thing is a TRUE JOKE from HP.

Similar Products Used:

Canon A300 (superb camera). Olympus D370- a 1.3 MPx camera which is MUCH, MUCH BETTER than this CHILD´S TOY.

Customer Service:

Really a true joke too. They told me to send the camera to the nearest service center, (as if the camera had a defect). Told them that I will NEVER, NERVER again buy anything from HP.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $174.00 from Target

Summary:

I recently bought this camera with the printer on sale at Target. Unbeatable price with 32 MB SD card included. Super easy to use, download photos and print superb prints altogether. Equals my 35MM camera's abilitities and qualities.

Strengths:

Size, feel, quality, ease of use, speed. Ease of included software. Not too complicated for a beginner. Auto off to conserve batteries. Super deal on package!!!!!!!!!

Weaknesses:

Needs to come with camera case for protection. Optional docking station too expensive and not really necessary. Should be included with camera purchase.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $149.00 from CompUSA, Oxnard, CA

Summary:

For the price, the HP 435 is in my opinion a very good value. It's a 3 Megapixel camera that has added value with its ability to record video with audio mpeg files. This camera is great for any beginner, because it's perfect for taking pictures and movies that you can easily download to your computer.

Strengths:

Ability to record video mpeg files with audio, and it's 3 megapixel image capability. Camera can be accessed as a standard disk drive or you can use software to upload your pics and vids into HP software.

Weaknesses:

Auto adjust for pics does seem to have trouble when there is too much light, pics can sometimes look very white. When recording mpeg movies you must have good lighting or images will apear darker on video.
