Strengths: small, easy to use, cheapWeaknesses: low memory, relatively expensive batteriesBottom Line: Got the DC-20 as a freebie when I bought my laptop, so had initally low expectations of it (you get what you pay for). It is easy to use, but I have MAJOR complaints about the software and trying to download the pics onto my PC. Cannot tell you how frustrating it was. Lately, though, there have been a lot of developers who have created simple programs that download the pics in batch mode, or let the camera operate as a webcam, snapping pics ever so often. These utilities have made this little camera a neat toy. I can now take lots of pics, download them and email them off in a flash. I like the picture quality. It is not super-high resolution, but I have been rewarded with some very good shots. And the ones I don't like? I delete them and take more. This allows me to experiment without wasting film. I really enjoy the DC-20 now, and can definitely recommend it.

Strengths: Ease of use. Turns off after a few seconds of inactivity.Weaknesses: Low resolutionBottom Line: Very simple and easy to use. Just point and click. Then load software, attach cable to your serial port, and you are ready to view your photos. Highly recommended for beginners or persons not needing high resolution photos. Great for creating photos to exchange on the internet. Price is very decent and competitive with similar products in this area.

Strengths: Inexpensive
Easy to useWeaknesses: No flashBottom Line: This was my first digital camera. It is easy to use and the photos are pretty good in ideal light situations. However, because it does not have a flash it is limited. When I bought one that did have a flash I gave this one to my mother. She loves playing with it. It is a simple camera for simple uses.
