The pro's outweigh the con's with the Digitmax 130. For closeups and pictures within 1-10 feet, this camera produces quality pics. Just familiarize yourself with the lens settings and the picture size setting. The bigger the picture the closer you need to be to the subject. But once you get the hang of it's simple. For pictures from afar and for example; pictures of your kids soccer games taken from the stands avoid this camera. Otherwise it's a great camera dn you can't beat the price. It does take exceptional pictures in dark lighting.
