Just a quick review to express my feelings for a camera purchased in family. It has been sent back 3 times, samsung are helpless to correct the problem and i have received the camera without the problem fixed. power consumption is poor and I would recomend anybody to stay well clear of samsung cameras. very disappointed. picture quality is so bad it requires 20 shots for a decent single picture. I am shocked that this is can be sold on the market. It has no usefull features and build is worse ive seen
The Samsung 240 is the worst battery hungry digital cameras that I have ever used. It uses a set of two AA batteries to take and download 8 pictures. Compared to other that get up to 250 per set of AA Batteries.
The the service from Samsung does nothing to help. I have returned my cameras 5 times and still have the same problem.
When you call them they don't return calls nor are they helpful.
If your looking to buy a digital camera stay away from the Samsung line.
I bought this cam for the features it had for the money. I have no regrets about buing it. It produces very sharp clear photos in the day light but the shutter stays open a few seconds during night shots so a lot of them have to be deleted unless you use a tripod.
