Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $120.00 from Wal-Mart

Summary:

The Samsung Digimax 201 is a really great camera for the price. The video feature is excellent, allowing you to take video for as long as the memory card allows. It also had a crystal clear digital 2x zoom then lets you zoom in another 2x when previewing the picture. Out of a possible 5 stars, I would rate the Samsung Digimax 201 a 4. Its a great value

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $132.00 from Amazon.com

Summary:

This camera is a lot better than I expected. I didn't expect it to be this good because it was the very cheapest digital camera with 2.0 MP or more. I was debating between 3 different cameras. The Digimax 200, 201, and 220SE. The 200 was $50 more dollars than this one and the 220SE was much more expensive. Supposedly according to reviews the Digimax 201 is better than the Digimax 200 yet costs $50 less. Weird huh? Anyways this camera does everything any person needs to do.

Strengths:

The strengths are simple. Price!!! Very cheap for a good quality camera by a major electronics company. Also sporting 2.1MP its a great deal. It also has movie recording capiblities and movie out. Very compact and comes with everything you need to get started.

Weaknesses:

Weakness there are a couple. It doesn't have many advanced features for higher end users. If you are big into photography you might want to spend a little extra money on something with a optical zoom and something with date and time display print on each picture. Also this camera doesn't have that many options for people who like to record video.
