from Office Depot Summary: This camera was good--while it lasted. After a little more than a year, it failed, kind of like the shutter was stuck shut, unless every photo was of a black bear at night. Kodak wanted way too much to fix it, about $150. Apparently this is a common failure mode. Strengths: Easy to use, docking solution, metal body. Weaknesses: Unreliable Similar Products Used: Canon S500. Customer Service: Camera was older than a year old, so that was that. I have a six year old Ricoh digital camera that still works fine, and Canon's seem to be very solid.
Advise that purchasers of Kodak cameras strongly consider an extended warranty.
